CHURCH COUNCIL
Church Council consists of Pastor and twelve members of the congregation. Four councilpersons are elected at the annual meeting each year.
The responsibilities of Church Council are:
- To have general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation, and in particular its worship life, to the end that everything be done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
- To do mission planning and oversee the administration of the congregation.
- To involve all members in the work of the Church.
- To be examples of faith, hope, and love to the members of the congregation and community.
- When conflicts arise, to foster mutual understanding, resolution of the conflict, and reconciliation.
- To support the wider work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
